Hackers to Expose Dirt on Lebron, Nicki Minaj, Diddy
Hackers set to Expose Dirt on Lebron, Nicki Minaj, Diddy.
The group, REvil, posted a new message on the dark Web saying it is ready to auction off all the information it allegedly has on hotshot celebrities.
This isn’t the first time that the group has threatened to expose celebrities and important figures.
In May, the hacker group attacked the celebrity law firm ran by famed attorney Alan Grubman.
They threatened to unearth dirt on President Trump if they weren’t paid a ransom but then the group did an about-face a week later claiming that the stolen files were off the market, having been sold to a secret bidder — leading many to doubt their credibility.
But the ransom money wasn’t paid. And so they are back, threatening to dish out juicy dirt on LeBron James, Nicki Minaj, and Mariah Carey, starting at $600,000 per star.
The hacking group also claims to have documents on Sean Combs aka Diddy’s Bad Boy Entertainment for a reserve price of $750,000, plus secret files on Universal and MTV for auction starting at $1 million per company.
The hackers claim that “Bribery celebrity’s [sic] by the Democratical [sic] party, sexual harassment by top politicians, envy of celebrities for each other … all of that is waiting for you in files of Grubman company.”
But a source close to the law firm claimed the hackers were lying about the contents of the files to extort more money and that the firm handles contracts and business matters, not criminal or marital issues.
Not surprisingly, Grubman refused to pay a ransom demand of $42 million.
Will be patiently waiting to see if REvil comes through this time around. Nothing like a big ol’ juicy story, eh?
